Matrix Legacy is approximately 33% lighter than the traditional blade! A lighter blade means the skater has more energy. Ultima’s lightweight blades are also equipped with E-X-T for improved edge retention, meaning the sharpening stays effective much longer than with a traditional blade without E-X-T. Otherwise, the blade is just like the traditional Legacy blade. An excellent choice for skaters training axels and their first double jumps. Comparable to MK’s popular Professional blade. The blade’s “holder” is made from the same type of aluminum used for aircraft chassis. The construction not only makes the blade lighter; it is also much quieter on the ice. In stock in silver, with approximately 2–3 weeks’ delivery time for the colored versions in gold, black, lilac, and blue. The blade is made of steel that retains its sharpness longer, meaning these blades last longer than traditional blades because they do not need to be sharpened as often. The steel protects the chrome, so the blade will never rust or flake. Since the blade is much harder, it withstands more than a traditional blade. Please note!
